I have the same problem as the Rav 4 Hybrids and so far with Toyota, they found the problem and replaced the sending unit, but it didn't fix it. Now they are saying that while they cannot replicate the problem, it is happening because I am improperly filling the tank. Hmmm... stick the filling gun in the hole, squeeze the trigger and when it won't allow you to put any more in Full...
Not rocket science. The gauge should read full as float has gone to the top. Well, not so much and I am looking at turning this over to an attorney as I have only had the vehicle for less than three months.
