It is very annoying to plug in your device for charging and find out nothing is happening. Initially, I thought it could be the cable, so I changed the cable for another, same issue. I plugged into an outlet at the rear of the middle console and that works with the same cable that didn't work with the USB port. This is very inconvenient as it is almost impossible to plug in the device at that location from the driver's seat, then as it farther away from the dashboard the normal cables are not long enough and, even if they were, it poses hazard where you may get entangled with it if you bring it to your device on the dashboard.
