Talked to service adviser when took in for 5K CK up & he did not really understand what I was talking about & & said he would have to get a Tech to ride with me & I agreed . He called back for a Tech just to take a ride & it could not happen at the time & after an hour went by I told him to blow it off I would catch them another day & just finish rotate my tires please & reset my oil light . I myself will change the oil my self when I get home with Mobil 1 Sentech.I he said trust me sir the oil in here will go 10K no problem . I said trust me sir , if my oil light comes on I change it no mater if it is Senthethec or regular . It does not cost that mush & you are talking a $10K engine to replace . The first 5K is what I & most Mechanics call breakin oil . Should be changed, no meter what, & look at oil for metal & stuff . He could of at least offered me a discount oil chage while it was all ready there . Or heck an oil change at all if that if waht the customer wants to pay for . Anyway that's why Toyota gives you free oil changes for 24K . You get it! You only get 2! Awful dang nice of them when you pay over $40K for a SUV form them that want even get 24 miles per gallon on highway unless going down hill .
