yes, I bought the car used from dealer with no warranty. But, their paperwork stated no frame or structural damage. I asked sales manager if gap on liftgate was normal he did not respond just grunted like it was normal. Vehicle in and out of toyota shop due to liftgate not opening and closing properly. I get the brush off but when I don"t let up they finally change one strut and move placement of struts and grease hinges but lie about doing more than that and keep my car 4 full days. manage tells me a spring is sprung and they cannot fix door as it is not aligned properly! Even used car should have doors that align properly and open and close properly!! They did not GIVE me the vehicle- I paid a lot of money and expect that toyota or delaership should make sure door works properly with or without their warranty!!!!! I Seal does not touch vehicle on left side of rear liftgate. toyota care is worthless as well do not waste your time calling them as they push you back to dealer who pushes you to toyota as no one wants to take responsibility or pay for new liftgate. never again will I buy from toyota especially in springfield illinois. this is my second toyota and I had problems with lies on inspection in st louis mo and giving me a vehicle that had bad brakes but stating brakes were fine. shame on greedy - no service after the sale!!!
