The first week we bought this car we noticed the back of the middle seat in the middle row would fall forward with normal driving. Took it back to dealership, they told me I didn't know how it worked and they would show me. When I picked up my car and she tried to show me how it worked the seat latched about 2 in 10 tries.
I called the service manager to complain. He said that Toyota knows about the problem and that " the part is working the way it's designed to work." I asked "so it's designed for the seat to fall forward with normal driving?" And he repeated the same response to me. I called Toyota and filed a complaint because I find this to be extremely unsafe. They assured me that the service center would not release a vehicle with an unsafe part. I asked why they would sell me this car with an unsafe seat and she said I could call the lemon law number if I was still I happy. Bottom line, Toyotas are getting really cheap and I will always question the safety of this car. BUY ANOTHER car!!!!!!!!!!
