A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

I HAVE A 2011 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER LIMITED, ONE DAY MY REAR DOOR WAS SHUTTERING AND THEN CLOSED, AND IT ALSO LOCKED IN PLACE, TOOK MY VEHICLE TO A TOYOTA DEALER, AND ASKED THEM TO FIND OUT WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH MY BACK DOOR.

THEY TOOK A LOOK AT MY VEHICLE AND SAID THAT YOU HAVE A HINGE LEFT SIDE THAT IS BENT AND ALSO YOU NEED A NEW REAR DOOR MOTOR ALSO, THAT IS NOT WORKING ALSO.

I THEN TOLD THERM THAT WE HAVE AN EXTENDED WARRANTY ON THIS VEHICLE, THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TO FIND OUT THE COST OF THE REAR DOOR MOTOR, THEY GOT BACK TO ME AND SAID,$1.950.00 DOLLARS TO REPLACE UNDER MY EXTENDED WARRANTY. THEY INSTALLED THE MOTOR, BUT DID NOT FINISH THE INSTALLATION BECAUSE ONE PART HAS TO BE WELDED ON, AND THEY DO NOT DO THIS.

NOW TO READ DOOR HINGE THAT THEY SAID HAS TO BE BROUGHT TO THERE BODY SHOP FOR THE SUM OF $2000.00 DOLLARS TO FIX. I THINK THAT THIS UNFAIR TO SPEND ALL THAT MONEY AND HAVE READ SOME REPORTS THAT TOYOTA IN SOME CASES ORDERED A HINGE FOR A CUSTOMER AND REPLACED IT. WHAT GIVES WITH TOYOTA? WE DEAL WITH THE SAME TOYOTA FOR MANY YEARS AND WE THINK THAT WE ARE BEING THROWN TO THE GUTTER.
