Car is under warranty and I was going to wax vehicle and I see small rust spots on sides of vehicle. Call dealer and he says to bring it in and will be covered under warranty. Get call later in the day that a Toyota factory rep has denied the claim saying paint damage must be reported in the first year. What a bunch of BS!. My car is in excellent shape and this is a paint defect from the factory so why is it not covered under warranty? Now in a battle with Toyota headquarters and my dealer and no solution in sight. I guess people now need to read every detail on their new car warranty agreement to not get screwed like I did.
I will NEVER buy another Toyota again nor recommend any of my friends to go to East Coast Toyota again if not resolved shortky.
