Just finished paying the 2008 highlander hybrid less than a year ago and now the dealer is charging $7578.94 to replace the brake actuator assembly $3235.75 plus 2.5 hours total 3523.25, also need to replace the brake booster pump assembly $1743.46, and it is leaking engine oil which requires the rear main seal cost $50.30 plus 15.8 hours of work. was provided a quote of 7,578.94. Found out from other complaints that older models have a recall for the brake actuator.
