We had purchased a Toyota Fortuner in the month of December. It is a 5 speed manual transmission one thats available in india. The brakes provided are Ventilated Discs in the front and Leading-Trailing Drum in the rear. The response time for the brakes is very high. It affects the quality of ride. We have reported this problem to the service stations when sending our car for service at 1000 km and 5000 km. They have said that the brakes are corrected now but still the response is bad. Currently our car has run about 7500km.
This is one minor blemish on toyotas part with regards to this vehicle. This apart the vehicle is sheer brilliance personified. Kindly suggest or let us know what needs to be done.
