2007 Toyota Fj cruiser has issues with the tire pressure. The consumer stated her insurance company made her aware of a recall regarding the tires on the vehicle. The consumer stated her husband had to keep putting air in the tires. The vehicle has dunlop tires which was recalled. The dealer informed the consumer the vehicle identification number was not involved in the recall.
The contact owns a 2007 Toyota Fj cruiser with dunlop grand trek tires. While driving 40 mph, the drivers side rear tire blew out. The tire shop stated that all the tires should be replaced due to the inner bead being damaged or flawed. There is a safety recall for tires bead (NHTSA campaign id # 06V235000). The current mileage was 18,826 and failure mileage was 18,250. Updated 03/05/08.

The contact currently has no tire damage, but wasconcerned that a bulge could develop at any time and create a problem later. The contact wanted all five tires replaced as stated in the recall. The current mileages was 12000.
