enter onto the freeway and accelerate to traffic speed only the engine is humming at high rpm because its still in 4th gear.. get off the freeway pull over and turn off the car.. turn back on and reenter the freeway accelerate to traffic 70mph or so and the engine is running at about 2200 rpm in 5th gear.. This is happening more often. On a related note (I believe), when driving normally on throughout the town, come to a stop and ready to move again press on the accelerator and engine revs but no motion. Then suddenly BAM gear engages and the car thrust forward. Other times come to a stop and before the light turns green the car lunges forward with a feeling as if someone hit your rear at about 2 to 3 mph. like the transmission for some reason just then engaged 1st gear with an attitude.
These are related in the fact that is transmission issues Im fairly sure. I dont know if im in for an expensive repair or maybe just a fluid/filter change. I hoping to get some feedback or advise..
