The contact owned a 2007 Toyota Fj cruiser. The contact stated that while driving at 65 mph with a trailer attached to his vehicle, the vehicle began veering to the right due to high winds. As the contact attempted to regain control of the vehicle, the vehicle flipped and rolled over multiple times. The air bags did not deploy as a result of the accident. Both the contact and his passenger were injured at the scene and were transported to a local hospital. Both parties were treated for a concussion as well as several cuts and bruises on various parts of their bodies. A police report was filed. No damages to the trailer were reported. The vehicle was destroyed at the scene and was towed to an independent tow yard. The dealer nor the manufacturer had been notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 250,000.
