This is insane. Toyota, you are responsible for this. You have made a bad design to where the tranny and the quill is poorly made and when you have to replace the T/O bearing it will never fix the issue. I have put in 2 clutch kits, 4 T/O bearings and a slave cylinder but 2 miles after having it replaced every time the damn T/O bearing starts chirping like a farm of damn crickets. This needs to be a recall issue and Toyota should have to pay for this.
There are thousands of FJ owners all having the exact same issue. The worst part of it is when you call Toyota their response is "oh, well we haven't heard anything about it". Bull in all of our opinions. Toyota needs to fix this. Do we have to bring a class action lawsuit to get your attention Toyota? Because we are going to do it.
You continue to screw us owners out of expensive fixes and to only have the same damn issue over again. This is insane, I need all FJ & Toyota Cruiser owners to join in on a class action lawsuit. We shouldn't have to be replacing throw out bearings constantly and fix the darn quill on the tranny.
