I was involved in a frontal crash yesterday (October 12,2006). The reason for my complaint was that the crash was pretty bad, the whole front of my car was totaled and the air bags did not deploy. I had my seat belt, but the impact made me hit the steering wheel. The police even asked if I had airbags, once they checked that it did, they were amazed they didn't deploy.
While making a left turn a vehicle in oncoming traffic collided into consumer's vehicle on the passenger side. This caused the driver to lose control and crash into a pole. Upon impact, air bags failed to deploy.
Had a 2000 Toyota Echo hit some on in the side air bag did not deploy and shoulder strap did not hold.had seat belt on.hit the steering wheel and hospital said buckeld breast bone and a hair line crack.
While driving at state speed limit applied brakes and air bags deployed, covering driver's vision without warning, and vehicle caught fire causing accident and minor body injuries.
At 40 mph consumer rear ended another vehicle head-on. There was some front end damage, and air bags did not deploy. Contacted dealer, and dealer/ manufacturer were not willing to do anything.
Consumer was driving at approximately 50 mph, hit a stopped vehicle head-on, dual air bags failed to deploy, causing bruises and injuries from hitting steering wheel. There was no warning or indication of defective air bags.front end was totaled..
Consumer was involved in a 25 mph frontal collision in which driver/ passenger air bags did not deploy, cause unknown. Sensor unit broken during the collision.
Consumer was traveling 55mph on highway, veered off to road and was trying to get control of T vehicle. But, lost contol and ran into meridian strip and crashed. Upon impact, dual airbags didn't deploy. The dealership aware of problem.
