Overall this car has had no mechanical problems whatsoever, but this check engine light is a real thorn in my side. It stays on so I have to look at it continually. The dealer has told me that a sensor on the fuel tank is probably bad and needs to be replaced for $500! The tank has to be removed, so the cost is mostly labor. I'd like to sell the car, which is in otherwise mint condition, but who's going to buy it with that damn light on!
