Vehicle was involved in a rear end collsion when brakes failed. Consumer stated when he attempted to apply the brakes they did not hold, and consequently rear ended another motorist.
Consumer started the vehicle and put it in reverse to back out. He applied brakes and the brake failed to stop. The vehicle rolled backward into wooded ditch. Also, consumer stated there was a vibration and hissing noise, one person was injured in the accident.
Received recall notice 00V256000 7 months ago. Took vehicle to dealership for repairs. Informed by mechanic that PCV port was already repaired. Afterwards, received letter from manufacturer that brakes were not repaired. Contacted dealer again, and was informed had no parts available, but will order parts or locate parts to do repairs of PCV port.
