EPB Shift Interlock Function Activated message on the dashboard briefly before start-up. This has occurred even though the car hasn't had any issues before. The braking system is functional, except regardless of time and temperature, the message still displays. The car's battery is in good condition and no low power level is displayed.

M car was towed to Toyota because my automatic parking brake failed to release. No warning lights nor any indication my battery was low. It licked my rear wheels so I could not drive. (Thank God I was not in a fire zone requiring evacuation!) there are NO manual release for the emergency brake to use in an emergency to flee an area. They said my battery was not carrying the load, and replaced it. This is a very serious safety issue! What if it was a Sunday and Toyota closed?? Most repair shops are closed on Sundays! I-??m [XXX] and [XXX]. PLEASE ADVISE TOYOTA TO ADD OR RETROFIT A MANUAL PARKING BRAKE RELEASE to resolve this issue. AND-??.check to make sure their analysis was correct that my battery was too low! I drive under the ACC system, the front traffic slows down on highway, but ACC system do not automatically slows down. So I push the brakes, but the car didn't slow down either. The car crash directly into the front car. Currently the car is under insurance inspectation. after the crush happened, the car start automatically moving without engine on, when it's in the parking mode. An police officer stop the car from moving by manually push the car backwards.
Brake rotors have warped twice in less than 50,000 miles. Brakes also become easily overheated a brake fade occurs if diving in hilly/ mountainous terrain.
The contact's mother owns a 2022 Toyota Corolla. The contact stated while his mother was driving 5 mph and was depressing the brake pedal but failed to stop the vehicle and crashed into a 711 building. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. No air bags deployed. The driver stated she had back pains but declined any medical service when the police officer asked. A police report was filed. The driver took the vehicle to a body shop and reattached the front bumper. The driver took the vehicle to the local dealer a week later and was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 21,000.
The auto services said "ROTOR TO HAVE A RUST ON THEM CAUSING VIBRATION" but I think there are additional situation because they needed the rotors to be machined
