This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
The contact owns a 2019 Toyota Corolla. The contact received notifications of NHTSA campaign numbers: 20V012000 (fuel system, gasoline) and 20V024000 (air bags) however, the parts for the recall repairs were not available. The contact stated the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that while they were stopped at a red light or idle, the rpms fluctuated. The vehicle was not taken to be diagnosed or repaired. Neither the dealer or the manufacturer were notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 13,395. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
Received two recalls for safety features. Recall 1/13/20 fuel pump issue that may cause vehicle to suddenly stall causing a crash. Recall 1/17/20 ECU recall that can cause air bags and seat pretensioners to not deploy in a crash. Going on two months with no remady. This seems unacceptable as only mode if transportation with children, that could encounter a safety risk at any moment.
Although I heard about the recall in the news in January 2020 I have never received acknowledgement of the issues from Toyota. I stopped driving it in January 2020 and I need my car! they have not repaired it in a timely manner. I want it replaced by Toyota with a car that does not have recalls on it.
In more than one time will coming to the free way when I have press the gas pedal the car will give a slight misfire and just not want to go releasing the gas pedal and pressing again then it will take off. Now with the steering every once in a while the steering wheel will actually pull to the left with force if I am driving one handed it will slip of my hand
After getting gas, once I got onto the highway, about 400 or so feet, my car started shaking violently and then my check engine light came on. I didn't know what was happening and my car was slowly stopping on its own Accord. Luckily I was able to get off on the nearby exit, my car slowing by itself as I drove. As I turned in to go to a gas station, my car stopped on its own completely, even when I tried to push on the gas. I turned the car off and waited about 5 minutes. After that time, I was able to start it up and my car turned on and no alert lights were on.I I was then able to drive on back roads to my house, with no further issues. Please help me resolve this issue. I am terrified I am going to get in a car accident.
