In August 26 2016 I bought my Toyota Corrolla 2016 LE. I have noticed that in the morning when I turn on the defogger for around 1 to 3 minutes it starts to work great until there is one of the lines in the rear windshield that doesn't work properly. Its the one in the half left of the rear windshield lines defoggers, from bottom to top #8/9. I have consider it a mayor problem since its not possible to see properly and it may lead to a car accident in a cold/rainy day due to severe vision loss caused by the streak/line of humidity that appears caused by the malfunction. In the other hand the car only have about 1 month and fewer than 2000 miles ran.
I will post photos from inside view & outside view of the car to provide evidence of the problem. Tomorrow I will make an appointment to follow up this important matter. And I will share the information provided by Toyota customer service.
Update from Oct 15, 2016: Car will be evaluate by a specialist in another appointment. unable to fix yet.
Update from Nov 3, 2016: After 15 days and several calls to the guarantee they decided to order the crystal. Everything is working perfect. Defroster working even better. No radio static 0. The replacement was for an original crystal. I have to paid 0. Estimated cost around 900-1100.
When using rear defroster, one of the lines in back window doesn't defrost.....may be the reason for my other complaint..idk...taking it to dealership hopefully next week. Anyone else have this problem?
