I purchased the 2015 Toyota Corolla LE ECO brand new and only drive it around down with occasional free/high way driving. On new years day the car would not start, since it was a holiday the service departments were not open and tow companies were charging extra for a tow. I had to take the car in the next day (Tuesday) I missed three hours of work time (without pay) due to having to get the car towed and get a rental. (which I paid for) I was told the battery died and had a bad "cell"

The battery was covered under the factory warranty and the folks at the Toyota dealership were awesome. However, it makes me wonder what else will fall apart on the car. Since I have only had it for two years.

I have owned Toyota's for years, but their newer cars are pretty crappy when it comes to basic reliability.

Also, I had to replace the car key battery 6 months ago.

I had a 2005 corolla, which I had for 10 years and did not ever once have to change the car key battery, nor did I have to get a new battery after purchasing it in 2006.
