I just got the car on 04/9/14. On 4/29 I was packing in my work bag to go to work and heard a loud cracking noise after closing the door. I took the car to the dealership who stated the rear window not covered under Toyota Care. I went online to see if this could be a freak accident or manufacturer problem. It appears that Toyota knows this is a known issue with the rear windows cracking but won't take ownership of the problem.
In my opinion they should be forced to recall the vehicles and put in a better quality window. I have had other cars and never had this happen before.
