I have a leased 2014 Toyota Corolla LE. Every time I park in a spot with a parking bump, the under side of the front bumper gets caught up on the bumper and results in a scrape. Since I live and work at places that have such bumps, it is impossible to avoid. If I do not pull in all the way, I risk being hit by other cars. After contacting Toyota, their response was that they do not feel this is a design flaw and will take no responsibility for it. I am not asking to have it fixed as it does not really show. All I was asking was that Toyota give me written assurance that when I turn the car back in, I will not be charged for the repairs. They claim no responsibility. This is the third Toyota lease I have had and never had problems before.

I am VERY disappointed in how this was handled. I had to write twice before getting a response and then only after I threatened to take this matter to a regulatory office. I am a senior citizen living on social security and cannot afford any expenses that are not my fault. I take good care of my cars and they are turned back in hardly used- never more than 5000 miles a year. I am sure I am not the only Toyota owner with this problem. Maybe you can help gather a list and confront Toyota.
