brake pedal is too close to the gas pedal catches shoe
The brake pedal can catch the edge or sole of my shoe. It requires that the foot is removed from under the brake pedal before the brakes can be applied. This happens at least once, every time I drive the car. It is truly a hazard when driving the car. If the brakes need to be applied in an emergency the foot can be trapped under the brake pedal, and a crash can occur. My mother, who is the owner of the car had an accident, because she could not get her foot on the brake pedal. Her insurance rate has skyrocketed because of the accident. Since there is another person with the same issue, I am going to see a lawyer and inquire about legal action. This is a design flaw.
