Found rust spots on the trunk lid of my two year old corolla. Notified dealer and was told that rust is only covered if it is a through hole. The car was out of the basic 60000 km warranty and I never purchased any extra protection. The car has received annual Krown rust protection, but it is rusting from the outside due to defective paint. I am quite surprised that a two year old car would already be rusting and no help from the dealer.
