The contact owns a 2011 Toyota Corolla. The contact stated the seat belt warning alarm was to low for them to hear. The contact spoke with the manufacturer and was told that the volume could not be increased. The contact stated due to the safety issue he could forget to put on his seat belt, leave the keys in the ignition, or potentially leave the headlights on. The failure mileage was 10 and the current mileage was 1,000. Updated 09/28/11 the dealer informed the consumer, that they could not raise the tone of the seat belt warning system. Updated 12/30/11
