Takata recall - received a recall notice in June 2016. As of today, I have not received a notice of remedy. I currently make monthly payments on my vehicle, however I can't use my vehicle to it's fully capacity. This has been extremely an inconvenience not just for me, but for my family as well. We can't fit a family of 5 until this recall is fixed.

Takata recall, my complaint has to do with how Toyota manufacuater has not in a timely manner been able to replace the airbags in my Toyota Corolla. The recall was was first announced on 23 May 2016, it has been almost a year and I live in a humid climate where the vehicle is likely putting me at a greater risk of fatality than normal.
Loss of full use of my vehicle because of loss of front passenger seat due to unsafe condition related to takata airbag risk and Toyota being slow to remedy the problem.
"takata recall" case # 1607202446 I have been given a loaner vehicle since September or October of last year through wolfchase Toyota in germantown tn. Even though I live in southaven, Ms. It will soon be a year that my personal vehicle will be sitting with no usage. The damages to my vehicle's gas tank, fuel pump, battery, paint, tires, fluids, rust, oil, brakes, rotors, plugs, and maybe more could occur while sitting so long. There are no other solution being given other than a loaner vehicle that has to be renewed every 30 days, about 45 miles away from my home. However, my other concern is that once my personal vehicle is fixed the repercussions from it sitting for so long will cause for me to have even more safety problems that will not be warrantied. One solution that could be offered would be to maybe first provide an extended warranty on the parts that are being affected, because of the damages caused while the vehicles are sitting. Another solution could be to provide a certified inspection on each vehicle before being released back to the customer. Or the last suggestion is to maybe provide the customer with a set amount to go towards a new vehicle so they won't have to deal with the stress of the loaner. I fear that one safety issue will be taken care of only to be replaced by many more. My family is very valuable to me, and I financially cannot afford to buy a new vehicle or to even replace all the parts that can be damaged to my vehicle for sitting for such a long period of time. Please let me know what can be done.

Takata recall - I was notified almost 2 years ago about this problem. As yet, there is no solution and I am advised not to drive with passengers in the only car I own. Obviously, this is not a viable solution. Should any mishap occur as a result of this defective airbag, you can be assured that I will exhaust every resource I have to sue not only takata, but NHTSA for not resolving this life or death safety issue in a timely manner.

"takata recall" the dealer or Toyota has failed and is unable to remedy the defect within a reasonable time. The first notification was received on 2016 and no further information has been received since that time. The waiting period to fix the problem according to the letter is more than a year. This is a major safety concern that should be prioritized and I am dealing with the consequences of this issue. Thanks!!
Takata recall. Its almost a year since I got a recall notice. I checked with my nearest Toyota dealer and they have not come up with remedy. I am asked not to operate the vehicle with this risk. I am not very happy with this situation not being able to use my car with confidence.
