bought an Altis , which is top of the range model here and and expensive one too. the problem i am facing with my car is that the car wobbles left to right constantly when driven at low speeds. at the beginning it was minor but after running few more miles the problem has become annoying . i have asked the dealership to check it but they are so incompetent that could find a solution to the problem. instead they didn't even consider this a problem and told me that it is a normal behavior of the car.
instead of listening to my complain and providing a solution to it, the incompetent pricks had the nerve to bluntly say that there wasn't any problem with the car. they said and i quote "Sir this is a normal behavior of the car and you will feel it in every Altis, the car is hardly driven at low speeds so you will not notice it and it is also not dangerous."
Hell, i didn't pay that much money to listen to this or compromise on the quality or comfort. i had sent written complaints to the parent company dealership in Pakistan i.e Indus Motors, and they sent the mechanic who gave the above statement. it has been a month that i am paying visits to dealerships and only wasting my time and getting annoyed at every visit. i didn't buy a brand new car just to go through all this. if this is what i had to go through then i was better off with a low budget used car.
secondly if this problem is in all Altis , according to Toyota's own mechanic, then its the manufacturing fault and Toyota should remove this ASAP which i doubt. otherwise i should get my refund because i didn't get what i paid for. Period.
