Had noticed that car didn't seem to be shifting correctly. Was on highway and decided to "put the pedal to the metal" to see if it would shift. Accelerator stuck! It did kick off with a noticeable sound when I depressed the brake pedal. Thought it might have something to do with floor mat. But......a week later the car shifted itself from neutral to reverse. Transmission?
