I noticed that the block heater cord, as well as the solid part that joins the plug with the cord are made of overly flexible and flimsy material. The cord itself is rather flimsy as well and I expected the cord itself to break, elsewhere long ago. I strongly suggest the manufacturer / dealers use a block-heater cord which is more robust, as damaged engine block heater cords are a fire hazard, a big nuisance in cold weather and an electrical shock hazard.
