I have enjoyed my Corolla for nearly eight years, low maintainence, low on gas, but I had to have my transmission service within one year of buying it. I was told that the oil appeared dirty during an oil change. I suspect that my problem existed when I purchased the vehicle. Now I'm hearing that the problem lies within the transmission. I just knew for sure that I would be able to have a paid for good running vehicle by now. The condition that exists is terminal. I do not have this kind of money needed for repairs or replacement. I do think the problem has always existed, and I have the service papers to prove that this problem pre existed. Please tell me what's your take on this problem. I definitely had in mind to buy toyota cars from hear on out, because I think they're a good make of vehcles. I realize that there's always a chance of one failing.
