The contact owns a 2006 Toyota Corolla. The contact was driving at approximately 30 mph through an intersection when another vehicle crashed into the driver side of the vehicle. The air bags did not deploy and two people were injured. A police report was filed. The body shop technician stated that the air bags should have deployed based on the speed at which the impact occurred. The manufacturer requested pictures to determine why the air bags failed to deploy and the insurance company was investigating the failure as well. The current and failure mileages were approximately 64,000.
