First alarm was replaced withing less than a year. Battery replace due to failure or other electrical problem at 12 months (2007). Jan 2009 battery drained again, this time local dealer replaced Alternator and battery checked ok! Before then I had a load test at another location and Alternator internal was okay, but the amps outputs was at 31 amps instead of the standard 50-60 amp output. Now two weeks later in Feb. 2009 again car down due to similar or other problems.
I believe dealer has not done a full electrical diagnostic, nor a battery drainage test to locate or expose the problem.
Is this a practice of keeping the customers wallet open at their convenience?
2006 Toyota Corolla and the battery dies. Dealership wouldn't cover the cost and Toyota Canada wouldn't cover the cost because of the miles. I have owned another vehicle much older and never had a problem with the battery.
