Hi there,
I own a used 2006 Toyota Corolla CE and have been having problems with it since I purchased it in 2010. I noticed a bad odour and I would cough when the heat or AC system was on. I complained to the dealer and no one could tell me why this was happening. When they checked the air cabin filter out (18 months later), there was a huge mouse nest and the filter was contaminated with dead mice, mouse urine and droppings. It was TOXIC and looked like it was NEVER changed! I was very concerned for my own health, as well as my family's because CDC says mice carry more than 35 different diseases. You don't have to have direct contact with the mice to catch a disease, you can get it from the droppings or contaminated dust. Has anyone here ever experienced or heard something similar to this? If so, please contact me because I would really like to share the information that I have gathered concerning this problem. Thanks!
