A month ago I received a recall notice from Toyota for the front passenger side airbag, alerting me that it is unsafe to Transport passengers in the car at this time. This is exceptionally inconvenient, as I have a chronically ill partner who needs to be driven to doctor's appointments, etc. I am writing to complain about what I believe is an unreasonable amount of time for the company to supply the part.

I have been contacting the Toyota dealer since July 21, 2015 to replace the passengers airbag. I am told parts are not available- yet they send out these scary letters for us to call and make an appointment to replace them or we will be responsible for the consequences. I have made three calls to the dealer. My last call was on August 15, 2015. I was basically told- don't call us. We will call you when parts are available. This is unacceptable. A recall shouldn't have been sent out until parts were made available.
