: the contact stated while driving at a normal highway speed the steering wheel suddenly became difficult to maneuver. There was no warning prior to the incident. The contact took the vehicle to two independent repair shops, and both determined the rack and pinion steering wore out and needed to be replaced. Updated 2/7/2006 -
