CarComplaints.com Notes: Was the 7th generation Corolla bit by the same spider as Peter Parker? Because these cars definitely have a super-power: invincibility.

Windshield replaced .. bad job .. water leaked ... supposing into steering where electrical ........... are located. All lights on dash, etc out. Not working since water leaked.
This week I started car ... which it had not done till then! All lights working except the signal lights. Checked fuses and replaced fuses and bulbs on rear panels ... turn signals+.....Bulbs 1156 n 1157 on both sides. Still not working-the signal lights. Also the car had not kept a charge whenever I drove it (tried dong it within limits to keep from drying out). Had to jump it every time. Now the car is keeping a charge and all the lights are working except the turn signals... not coming on or flashing...
I'm not sure why the above is showing ... it was 1st problem submitted?! This is my 3d problem with different car...97Toyota Corolla. Bought car from person normally taken care of cars owned. After buying (oops!!!) I checked oil ... dip stick so bad I had to drill wire brush it to read it! Told maintenance had been kept up ...it was a Canadian built car ... did dealer or whoever was serving it ever actually service it? ... I wonder. The mileage is bad, bad, bad. I put new plugs but no improvement. What type of work should be checked/done to try and improve the mileage?
