The contact owns a 2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid. The contact stated while driving 20 MPH and approaching a stop sign, the brake pedal was depressed, but the vehicle failed to respond. The contact stated that she continuously depressed the brake pedal down to the floorboard, and the vehicle responded. Additionally, the contact stated that the failure recurred while driving. Several unknown messages were displayed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer however, the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that they would follow up with the dealer. A case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 52,690.
