I bought my 2018 Camry LE hybrid new in Oct. '17. Since then the problem with the climate controls (A/C, fan speed, temperature controls) froze on three separate occasions. The latest occurred in mid-June. They all occurred with the first drive of the morning after being in the garage during the night. Two mornings during the winter months the outside temperature was in the 40s-50º but temperature control were unresponsive. I could not warm up the car.
I went to the gym and when I left several hours later they worked. The third time the controls froze I turned off and re-started the car three times but still no climate control functions.
Car was taken to Toyota dealership. Mechanics were not able to duplicate the problem. They checked for software update but reported "Nothing found". Road tested car and used climate controls but they worked during the test drive.
