Without previous indications, multiple warning lamps lit, including the check engine light and the hybrid system warning screen. Within a few seconds drive train power dropped to nothing, or almost nothing. I had to limp the car past entrance/exit lanes to get to shoulder of the highway. (Fortunately, traffic was light and other drivers were patient with this car with its hazards on.) Car was towed to nearest dealer. Dealer described the problem as the throttle body failing and starving the engine which in turn triggered the hybrid system warning since the engine was no longer providing adequate mechanical power. The throttle body was replaced within a day and I have had no problems in the 30 days since then.
