This is a copy of my safety complaint to consumer report magazine regarding potentially fatal flaw in Toyota hybrid Camry cars. I am writing this to express my strong disappointment in cr's shoddy car reviews, in this case, hybrid Camry. Not once has your reviews of this car mentioned the major and potentially fatal flaw in this car when driving it at night: The headlights of the cars behind seen in the rear view mirror are distorted, making it nearly impossible for the driver to correctly judge distance or relative position of the cars approaching from behind. Instead, one sees a blurred window of parallel, intertwining, and confusing rays of light. It makes changing lanes nearly impossible and driving on a busy highway at night, especially when it is raining, extremely dangerous and terrifying. I believe that this car need to be recalled and fixed as soon as possible. To that end, I am sending a copy of this email to the department of consumer safety and the headquarters for the Toyota company.
