I trusted Toyota and bought it believing that I would get more than 40 mpg in the city, because, well, it is TOYOTA. But I feel betrayed because I get only 20-31 mpg in city driving. Unbelievable! My friend has bought Honda Accord Hybrid, he gets 50 mpg. How I wish I had not trusted Toyota. The seat, ride quality all are horrible too. Your body feels even the tiniest bumps on the road. I contacted the dealer and Toyota itself. They said they can't do anything about it. I hope the problem is only with few cars. I truly believe that the battery may not be charging properly. But Toyota is unwilling to look into it. If anybody else has similar issues, let me know, that way we can seek class action.
