Tires needed to be replaced when car was 5 months old with 15,000 miles. Took to dealer and was told ' they are good tires' but would not cover them under any warranty as they deemed it wear and tear. They replaced with same tire ...... should have known better than to let that happen as we had to replace them again within 7 months. Our car is maintained per schedule i.e. oil changes, rotations, etc.. but the dealer insists it is due to our lack of care. The third set of tires are not the stock brand and have lasted longer but are still wearing faster than expected.
