The driver sustained injuries that consisted of swollen ribs, a bruised and swollen shin, leg, and damage to his feet. Medical attention was provided at the local hospital. The passenger seated in an unknown rear seat sustained unknown injuries but did not seek medical attention. The vehicle was towed to a towing center in Orlando, Florida. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact called an independent mechanic. The manufacturer was contacted, who provided a case number but no additional assistance was provided. The approximate failure mileage was approximately 53,000. The vehicle was deemed a total loss.
