I was on vacation, April 7th, 2018 and it was raining for about 2 hours on I95-S in South Carolina but light enough to maintain 65-70mph on the highway.
I was using the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control when it clicked off with an idiot light and error message informing me to "clean" the sensor.
Also my Pre-Collision system also failed due to the rain with an idiot light as well. Both of these items reoccurred for about 2 more hours. I pulled over to the nearest rest area, "Googled where the sensor is" its just behind the Toyota Emblem. It wasn't dirty; nor in the engine compartment by the emblem as well. The system reset itself but as I pulled away the rest area and back onto the highway (I-95S in South Carolina) and it was raining ; it failed again. I had to drive 250miles with No Cruise Control and No Pre-Collision system as well. Lane Departure systems were operational the whole time.
When it stopped raining the system worked flawlessly again.
I live in Florida, and its going to be rainy season very soon, so this is quite scary.
