MY CAR IS A 2018 TOYOTA BRAND NEW OFF THE LOT ONE YEAR AGO. HAD A BRAKE ISSUES. TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND HAD THEM TEST DRIVE IT TO HEAR THE ROARING GRINDING NOISE I WAS HEARING. RESULTS CAME BACK THAT IT WAS THE ROTORS. THEY TOOK IT IN AND SAID THEY WAS GOING TO RESURFACE THE ROTORS. THEY DID THAT AND IT WORK FINE FOR A GOOD WHILE. NOW I AM HEARING THAT ROARING GRINDING NOISE AGAIN AND ESPECIALLY WHEN I BACK UP AS WELL AS GONG FORWARD.
Brakes on my 2018 Camry are squeaking, I was informed it might be the material type. I hear it when I'm driving slowly and step on the brake pad slowly. Toyota suggested resurfacing the rotors but they think the noise might come back.
2018 Camry SE with under 3,000 miles and the brakes have and still squeak to and from work. I work for the Toyota dealer that I bought it from and I was told "brakes look perfect as does the rest of the car" . They kept the vehicle inside where its warm as I said when its warm? It sounds like a ten year old junk car that wasn't taken care of. I haven't even had it in for its first 5K service yet and I also have the transmission sifting problems as well? POORLY built car and not to mention that I had a paint defect from day one!
