In Feb 2019 the driver side door lock actuator failed and was repaired by Toyota under warranty. In Nov. 2019, the passenger side door lock actuator failed and since car has 37,500 miles and is out of warranty miles, Toyota refuses to repair. It seems to me that Toyota is using very cheap parts suppliers. This part in my opinion shouldn't fail within 2 years owning a car. I had owned all cars with power door locks without any problems. The only one which had similar problem was 2014 Honda Accord LX.

The Toyota customer service is bunch of useless people reading same script and not even listening to you. Call numerous times and each time different person picked up the phone, it was like recorder is talking. Also don't fall for Toyota 25,000 or 2 years Toyota care program, it nothing but marketing gimmick, it only really includes 2 oil changes and 5 tires rotation.

My car was perfect for 25,000 miles, according to Toyota inspections during that period. When I took my car with 30,000 suddenly there was $600.00+ worth of issues with my car. When I confronted so called 'service advisors' I was told these repairs are really not necessary but is better for the life of the car. In conclusion, Toyota cars are not the same from years ago and Toyota dealers are the worst and arrogant bunch of folks. Toyota does not stand behind their products, they only care to sell as many cars as they can and maximum profit. Sooner or later people will figure this out like I did.
