I hydroplaned on the interstate going 60 and hit a guardrail twice. The airbags never went off, the seat belt retracted back into place after taking it off. It should have been floppy if it was effective.

Vehicle has a recurring issue with rattling/ticking sounds when driving on city, highway, and interstate roads over normal road bumps that is coming from the front passengers side door panel/seat belt retractor pillar area. The local Toyota dealer did not want to investigate my issue because they could not replicate the sound even though I had multiple video recordings of the issue. The vehicle has since been in for four separate visits with another local shop to try and resolve the issue. That shop installed a new seat belt retractor and pillar trim along with foam. None of those attempts resolved the issue. $400+ dollars has been wasted trying to fix this problem. I believe it is a quality issue on Toyota's part that needs to be resolved.

When driving over medium sized bumps in the driveway, or going over railroad tracks, the frame of the car sounds like it is twisting at which point you can here a popping noise. It doesn't sound like it is coming from the suspension, but more so from the top of the C-post (rear roof). I do not feel it is a huge issue, but I feel like the body metal is bending each time. I have not brought the issue up to the dealership yet, but after reading through some of the other complaints, it doesn't sound to abnormal for something like this to happen to the Camry.

After having my car for almost a year in South Carolina, I noticed that the front bumper grill where the emblem is located is bubbling significantly. The "chrome" looking plastic isn't holding up to normal wear and tear on the Camry. I wash my vehicle twice a month, so not taking care of the vehicle is not the issue by any means. I told the dealership about this problem, and they stated that this was no longer on my coverage for warranty. I do not feel a brand new car should have cosmetic issues like this after a year of owning the vehicle from driving it off the lot brand new. For about 8 months of its 16 month life span the car was garage kept. My wife is currently driving the vehicle and does not take it for a drive that often.

On the 2017 Toyota Camry, I noticed the door jamb has a sticker that reads "caution: Load carrying capacity reduced. Modifications to this vehicle have reduced the original load carrying capacity by 9 kg or 21 lbs." I have not done any modifications to this vehicle. I have contacted Toyota headquarters regarding this issue and was referred to the dealership with no explanation why this sticker was placed on the door jamb.
