The contact owns a 2017 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that the front driver's door failed to open and lock with the remote key and the buttons on the door. The contact had to open the door manually. The vehicle was taken to carson Toyota (1333 E 223rd St, carson, ca 90745), but the failure could not be replicated. The vehicle was not repaired and the front passenger side door also failed. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where it was determined that the passenger door was able to be repaired, but not the driver's door. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact to call the dealer. The approximate failure mileage was 24,406. The VIN was not provided.
