Water pump started making grinding noise at 29,500 miles in May of 2019 and needs to be replaced. Car is a 2015 model V6 engine and should not be having this problem. Toyota needs to do a recall on these water pumps. Mechanic checked it out, and it’s the water pump. I haven’t fixed it yet so I don’t know how much it will cost. The appointment is on June 5 2019 to have it replaced. It sucks that Toyota is using cheap components on their products. I’m starting to think that Toyota isn’t as reliable as they used to be.
