My brakes on my 2015 Camry XLE first went to the floor in November of 2014. I called Toyota and the said that it probably had air in the line since I pumped it several times and then got full pedal. I explicated to the guy that I almost hit another vehicle and he said that their is no recall on this vehicle. I said it needs looked at and he told me that they was booked and if the light for the brake was not on then they are working. I did not feel safe at this point, but I drove it for a while to see if it would happen again. At first I noticed that it seem as if I was not getting full petal only about 1/2 to 3/4 at best. Then on 5/9/2016 it happened again all the way to the floor no brakes and almost hitting another vehicle, luckily I was not going that fast and I thought to use my emergency brakes.
I took the car to Craig Toyota in Madison, IN as I could not drive it. They said well depending on what it is it may or may not be covered. it's like i was in a tug of war with them. I told him to check it out and I would go from their. I received a call stating that they found a code that told them my booster for the brakes was defective and would replace it free of charge.
It seems to me from what I am reading that this is a known issue and its not being add to the recall list.
